Our Restaurant

Our food is sourced from local suppliers.

Much of our fish is caught locally by Barrovian fishing vessels, our meat is selected from local butchers, vegetables arrive from a Lancashire based supplier and we try to bake much of our bread on site.
The style of our main A’La Carte menu is simple, rustic food served well with excellent ingredients and prepared entirely on premises.

For our Specials Menu we will attempt more unusual and daring dishes. Often only available for a short period of time and generally using ingredients that have been caught locally or are in season at the time. Try them whilst you can and please feel free to pass on your comments, the most popular dishes will often be promoted on to our next A’ la Carte menu.

Our chefs are a magnificently hard working bunch. Our Head Chef, Mr Ross Davis, has worked with Lancaster Brewery for over ten years and prior to joining us trained with some of very prestigious restaurants. Our Chef Brigade work hard to produce really good food, ours is not a “microwave kitchen” and sometimes there can be a short delay in preparation.
